Rain...back with a vengeance

Having lived in California most of my life, I expect Spring to come quickly. Well living in Ticino is not exactly the same story. Last week we were teased with mostly sunny weather and this week the rain came back for an extended visit...unfortunately. Sometimes I really wonder how it can possibly rain for 3 or 4 days straight. I don't really mind it while I am working, but walking to school and wanting to run outside really makes it frustrating. This weekend I am heading back to the cold, by going up north to Zurich. My cousins Caitie and Eric are coming to visit for their spring break and I'm hoping the rain stays away. I figured it would be easiest to come up to Zurich to meet them, since they wanted to see the city anyways. Then we'll head down here on Sunday together. It will be great to have family here to visit. It will be especially fun to take both of them to some great pubs! Next week I'm going to show them around Lugano, take them out for italian one night and then hit up a grotto the next night. They're going to head down to Florence and Venice and then come back through Lugano on their way back to Zurich. YEAH can't wait!! Wish they could smuggle some Mexican food in...the cravings are getting extremely bad. :)
