Night at "THE CLUB" celebrating Hayley's birthday

To celebrate my friend Hayley's birthday, we decided to head to Milan to go to a real club, not the sleepy ones (two) that are in Lugano. Blair volunteered to drive a van (don't worry we had a 14 seater) to get us to the city and home safely. We decided to play like the Italians, meaning have a very late dinner and very late night. Leaving Lugano at 8pm, we arrived in the city after some slight parking issues (reversing down a street) and found a cute pizzeria, serving deep dish pizza. We thought it was unheard of in Italy too! After pizza and wine, at about 12am we heading over to "THE CLUB", yes it is a club and yes it's also called The Club. I had actually been to the same place on Tuesday when we were were bored at the election party for awhile. It's pretty much your typical european club, crowded, loud music, lots of guido guys ....you know the usual. Allie and I ended up friending a group a guys from Pisa, celebrating a bachelor party in the VIP section, which is always fun. The thing about always being in Europe, Italy in particular, is the language barrier makes meeting new people so much harder, especially when you are in a loud club. Attempting to speak Italian is hard enough, without having to yell over the music. After a long night of dancing, we headed home about 430 and arrived back in Lugano around 530am...yikes. Good thing there isn't much to do on Sundays! Tonight I'm actually going to dinner at one of my student's homes in Montagnola. I'm really looking forward to having a nice meal! Hope you all had a great weekend!
