Getting there...

Even though I should be well on my way to Zurich by now, I am sitting in the Dallas airport waiting for my flight to London. After discovering my flight to Chicago from San Diego was canceled, I was luckily rerouted and will still arrive in Lugano by the 24th...kind of important since I start working the morning of the 25th. Instead of a more direct route, I am flying from Dallas to Heathrow, Heathrow to Zurich, and finally Zurich to Lugano. Amazing! I only arrive about 6 hours late. What can I say the adventure is only beginning. I was relatively calm at the airport, I guess expecting delays. I sat next to a really nice guy on the flight here with 3 kids that live in San Elijo. Like everyone else I talk to, he was envious of my journey! Can't wait to finally be there.
