Blues to Bop Music Festival
Saturday night we grabbed some drinks at the IP or Irish Pub down the road from my house. From there we drove (not me) in the school vans down into the city of Lugano, which is about 10 minutes from my house by car. There was a big music festival going on, so the city was not as sleepy as usual. We ended up hanging out in the main piazza (Piazza Riforma...remember from last summer girls) most of the time and liked the band a lot. I guess the girl, Grace Potter, is well known, but I hadn't heard of her. It was fun hanging out with the ES teachers and also some of the high school teachers we don't spend as much time with during the day. From there we went home to rest up for our big hike on Sunday!

it turns out that a former professor of mine was in the same city at the same festival on the same day! Amazing coincidence and even stranger that a friend would recall what I mentioned of your travels when reading this prof's facebook page.
