At the end of the first part of the hike, we reached a waterfalls and pool of basically melted snow. We stopped their to have lunch and enjoy the scenery. Had it been a really hot day I would have gone swimming, but it was cooler and the water was freezing. Many brave souls did go swimming and even dove off some pretty high jumps. The water was pristine and crystal clear.
